Heavy Duty Corner Insulators for 20mm and 40mm Electric Fence Tape
These Heavy Duty Corner Insulators are made for the points in an electric tape fence where the conductor changes direction around a wooden post.
An ordinary line insulator may be perfectly adequate along a straight run, but corners place considerably more sideways strain on the fitting. This stronger design supports the tape as it turns, helping to keep the fence in position without forcing the conductor against a narrow or unsuitable edge.
The insulator accepts both 20mm and 40mm electric fence tape. An electroplated bolt closes the front of the bracket, keeping the tape within the smooth turning channel while still allowing it to move as the fence is tensioned.
Installation is straightforward. Secure the plastic bracket to a wooden corner post, remove the retaining bolt and place the tape behind it before refitting the bolt. This also means the insulator can be added to an existing fence line without having to feed the full length of tape through it.
These insulators guide tape around a corner rather than clamping it in a fixed position. If you need to anchor separate sections of tape so they can be tensioned independently, a clamping Corner & Line Insulator may be the better choice.
