These White Electric Fence Rope and Ring Insulator Bundles provide the two main components needed to add an electric rope line to wooden fence posts. They are well suited to horse paddocks, grazing divisions and repairs or extensions where a full roll-and-insulator package is more convenient than purchasing each item separately.

Two bundle sizes are available:

• 200m of white electric fence rope with 50 ring insulators
• 400m of white electric fence rope with 100 ring insulators

The Liveline rope is 6mm wide and made from UV-resistant polypropylene for outdoor use. Six stainless steel conductors, each measuring 0.2mm in diameter, carry the pulse from the energiser along the fence.

With a breaking strain of 380kg, the rope provides a strong and clearly visible fence line for horses. Its all-stainless-steel conductor arrangement is best suited to short and medium-length paddock fencing rather than particularly long or electrically demanding systems.

The included ring insulators are designed to screw into wooden fence posts. A solid steel centre runs through each insulator, providing a stronger construction than designs where the threaded section is only lightly attached to the plastic body.

The insulators hold the electrified rope away from the timber so the pulse cannot leak directly into the post. They also provide a smooth guide for the rope, helping to protect it from unnecessary rubbing or wear.

This bundle contains the rope and ring insulators only. Other components needed to complete a working fence, including an energiser, suitable earthing, lead-out cable, tensioning equipment, gate components and connecting hardware, should be selected to suit your particular layout.

If the fence will extend over a longer distance, uses several live lines or regularly has vegetation touching it, a lower-resistance rope such as Liveline Power Charge may be the better choice.
