This white horse electric fencing kit provides the principal components needed to create a visible, portable paddock or strip-grazing enclosure. It is suited to locations where mains electricity is unavailable or where the fence needs to be moved periodically.

The kit is powered by a Fenceman B430 energiser with selectable high and low output settings. The low setting helps conserve battery power on short, clean fence lines, while the high setting provides a stronger output where the fence is longer or exposed to limited vegetation.

The B430 has an integrated battery compartment and runs from a non-rechargeable 9V alkaline electric fence battery. A battery is included, with a choice of capacities available when ordering. A larger-capacity battery will generally operate the energiser for longer between replacements, although actual battery life depends on the selected power setting and fence conditions.

Twenty white electric fence posts are supplied, with a choice of post heights available. The conducting line is 200m of 20mm white electric fence tape containing four stainless steel conductors. Its white colour and 20mm width make the fence easy for horses to see.

The kit also includes a heavy-duty gate handle, gate-handle insulators, ring insulators, a basic fence tester and an electric fence warning sign. Connection leads and the energiser’s own earth stake and stand arrangement are also supplied.
