4-Inch Straight Distance Insulators for Rope & Wire
These 4-Inch Straight Distance Insulators position electric fence rope or wire approximately 4 inches or 10cm away from a wooden fence post.
They are useful when adding an electrified line to an existing post-and-rail, stock or poultry fence. Moving the live conductor away from the original boundary can discourage animals from leaning against, rubbing on or placing pressure on it.
The shorter 4-inch offset keeps the conductor reasonably close to the original fence. This can be helpful where an 8-inch distance insulator would extend farther into a paddock, track or working area than required.
Each insulator has a straight steel shaft that screws into a wooden post and a ring-style head for rope or wire. A compatible screw-in tool can be used with a cordless drill when installing larger quantities.
