The Liveline Electric Fence Rope Bundle Deals are a practical choice when you need enough conductor for a new horse paddock, several grazing divisions or an extension to an existing fence. Buying the rope as a bundle also ensures that you have the correct connectors for joining the separate rolls properly.

The standard Liveline rope is available in white or green and white. Each roll contains 400 metres of 6mm electric fence rope manufactured from UV-resistant polypropylene, with six 0.2mm stainless steel conductors running through it.

This conductor arrangement makes Liveline a good fit for medium-length horse fencing where you want a visible, robust alternative to thinner electric fence wire or twine. The rope has a breaking strain of 380kg, giving it the strength needed for normal paddock use while remaining straightforward to handle and install.

Four bundle options are available:

• 2 x 400m rolls with 2 rope connectors
• 3 x 400m rolls with 4 rope connectors
• 2 x 400m rolls, 200 ring insulators, screw-in tool and 2 rope connectors
• 3 x 400m rolls, 300 ring insulators, screw-in tool and 4 rope connectors

The optional ring insulators are designed to screw into wooden fence posts. Their solid steel centres run through the insulator, producing a stronger fixing than ring insulators with a separate or weakly attached screw.

A sturdy plastic screw-in tool is supplied with bundles containing ring insulators. This can be fitted to a suitable drill or used with a hand tool, helping you install a large number of rings more quickly and consistently.

Using the supplied rope connectors is important. Simply knotting electric fence rope together can damage the conducting strands and create a weak electrical connection. The connectors hold the ropes securely while maintaining a more reliable route for the pulse from your energiser.

The quoted rope capacity should always be considered alongside the complete fence layout. Multiple live lines, vegetation touching the rope, poor connections and inadequate earthing will all increase the demands placed on the energiser.
